When my son was about 2 years old, I was ready to return to work but wasn't ready to give up being present for him. As a new Mom, finding a career that fit our family's lifestyle felt impossible- until I found Misty and The Sugar Shack.
Taking Misty's sugaring course gave me the confidence and skills to start a career that truly worked for my life. The flexibility to create my own schedule meant I could spend my days with my son and work in the evenings, often without needing childcare because my family was available to help. In 2022, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to be a stay at home mom, and I didn't want to go back to my desk job. I wanted the flexibility to make my own hours while still being there for my family.
After doing some research, I found The Sugar Shack training course in Nelson and decided to sign up for their in class sugaring training. From the moment my training package arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. The online training videos were easy to follow, and whenever I had questions, Misty was always there to help. Five years ago, I took a course through The Sugar Shack, it was the start of my sugaring journey. The course was exactly what I needed- informative, detailed, and easy to complete while living in a different city.
I attended the five days in person training offered in Kelowna, BC at The Sugar Shack, where Misty arranged back-to-back clients for me each day. The hands-on experience gave me the confidence and practical skills I needed to succeed. To this day, I continue to follow the techniques and guidelines taught at The Sugar Shack.
